I am not sure if this is the right place but i am having a little difficulty adding a film (Therese Raquin)
I am not sure if this is because of the accents but would someone be able to let me know how it can be done

Another one directing to the wrong link because of the extra digit...
demonic Posted - 13/10/2019 : 04:09:57
This one is currently coming up as "not confirmed".... (It's so confirmed, I watched in the cinema yesterday).

And this one...

And this one, with the same problem - it seems the site is only recognising the first six numbers and grabbing that film for the database.

Had trouble adding this tonight - the database added a different film (it has the same address apart from the final extra digit), I tried a work-around using the old site to add (which worked) and then reimporting to update the detail here (which didn't)...

Here's another one that can't be imported:

I saw this film at the Berlin Film Festival, but it won't add it because it thinks it's unconfirmed.

Thank you!

Sorry folks- I'm still around just don't check into the site as often as I should due to other commitments. If you find any other issues always feel free to email me as I'm forever checking that and will endeavour to get back to you asap.

Meanwhile, the film import issue is sorted (the most-excellent Avengers: IW now correctly imported also). I feared IMDB may have given their site an overhaul but fortunately it was only a minor change to deal with

That said, I just tried and it’s the same for me on F.

I cannot believe that film has a 4.2 average on here, by the way!
Salopian Posted - 30/05/2018 : 19:49:54
Which version of the site did you use, X or F? I get lots of problems like that in the former but not the latter.

And yes, we’re pretty much on our own nowadays.

Hello, is there anyone out there listening? Feels a bit like we're on our own here - Benj, MERPs?
demonic Posted - 09/05/2018 : 17:12:07
I found a database wobble tonight attempting to re-import the most up to date details for "Avengers: Infinity War" - the site is only currently only recognising Robert Downey Jr. as being in the cast. I mean, he has significant screen time and all, but he's very much one cog in a very large Cinematic Universe wheel. All attempts to fix it have gone the way of preventing Thanos from getting the infinity stones, so any MERPish help would be splendid.

(p.s. loved the film tonight.. quite a ride, ten years coming).

EDIT: Just to confirm there's a definite problem with re-importing, attempts to update another film on the database produced the same problem - deleting the whole cast apart from the first billed actor.

Hi there. I only visit the site to keep tabs on films I've watched nowadays (& to vote on worthy reviews I spot). I've just suffered through 'Lost in Paris' & noticed it's been added twice, with each version having one review. I'm sure there's a Duplicate Films thread but I can't find it.

The following films do not want to come to FWFR. Benj, would please escort them from IMDB to our little home?

OTHELLO (1906)

The lights are on, but nobody's home.
