Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list. | Do not use reviews from the previous round: you must change them every round. | Post here to declare that youve done it: sooner is better than later. | Provide spoiler warnings in your post when appropriate. | Read the F.Y.C.s of all participants. | The next round starts on Monday at noon or later, F.W.F.R. time.

You've definitely taken your time getting round to it.

I only really like watching films at the cinema, but I've never seen it listed in places that rerun classics and that's all gone out of the window this year anyway. I have looked it up from time to time but never found an online source, but then I was browsing iPlayer on an actual television for I think the first time ever and it turned out they have a handful of silver-screen classics on there. I watched Bringing Up Baby straight afterwards, although I had seen that before.

Anyway, I think it's logical to spread out classics over one's lifetime. Otherwise, after a certain point the only films that one could see for the first time would be new releases. This is why spoilers don't have a cut-off date.

5/5. I didnt expect to be voting for two sledge/going downhill reviews this week. (I saw Citizen Kane for the first time.)

Mary Elizabeth Winstead plays violent alcoholic teacher Kate in "Smashed".
In comedy thriller "Small Town Crime" John Hawkes plays an alcoholic police detective.
"Heaven Knows What" is based on a semi-autobiographical book by a recovered heroine addict.
Spoilers for "The Girl on the Train" - a woman driven to addiction by her abusive, murderous ex ends up killing him in self defence with a corkscrew.

Lemmy in for #1379.

Jean Muirs character, Lois, is too down too earth for the fast and loose society crowd she was born into.

Leatrice Joy is a fast and loose society flapper who is sent to prison for manslaughter following an automobile accident.

Joe E. Browns relationship with Winnie Lightner goes beyond professional as the two gym workers train an aspiring wrestler.

It's key to the plot that Claire's old flame used to talk to her about the earth and would never have moved away from his homeland of Tuscany.

The unwilling mariner's father is prominent in the early part of the story.

The Apple co-founder works his way up.

Here are my five reviews.
