Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list. | Do not use reviews from the previous round: you must change them every round. | Post here to declare that youve done it: sooner is better than later. | Provide spoiler warnings in your post when appropriate. | Read the F.Y.C.s of all participants. | The next round starts on Monday at noon or later, F.W.F.R. time.

Happy New Year gents!

I'm still regularly reviewing, adding films and checking the boards here, but won't enter FYCTH while there are only two other players - a long held personal rule. Unfortunately there's been no sign of Larry for a while now... perhaps this new national lockdown might bring some reviewers back around.

That would be nice!

5/5.

Thank you for giving me the chance to egregiously and shamelessly name-drop: I met Edmund Hillary when I was living near Everest.

Yes, I'm ever-hopeful that even modest versions of the former hordes will return sometime. Wasn't it nice in the early days of the Internet when there were all these little communities each functioning in their own way? Social media has really ruined it.

Yep.

Happy New year (the bar is low).

A few extras this round.

Here's hoping the New Year will bring back some missing FYCTHunters.

Scoot McNairy stars in a film set on New Year's Eve.

Mingus has been divorced twice so doesn't want to make the same mistake again.

An ex-couple scheme to steal a jewel to replace the retirement money they have been defrauded of.

Lemmy in for #1393.

Some older 'new'ish reviews.

Neophyte Julie Christie in a film featuring a vintage automobile.

Sea of Grass, which predates Edna Ferbers novel Giant (filmed in 1956), has a similar plot to that Texas- based novel, but is set in New Mexico.

Plastic surgery changes Joan Crawfords life. A remake of a Swedish film starring Ingrid Bergman.
