Godard's "Masculin Feminine" the doomed relationship between a pompous and negative Jean-Pierre Leaud, and Chantal Goya, who was a "ye-ye" pop star. Jacques Becker's "Casque D'or" follows Manda, a reformed criminal, falling back into dangerous company as a result of his love for a gang-connected prostitute.
