The 20 review allowance will last Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59, resetting when the GMT clock clicks over to Monday 00:00 again.
Has this changed? I had reached the cap this week but it is letting me submit reviews again.
O.K., something has definitely changed. I have got over twenty reviews pending from Monday onwards, and that's on top of approvals, rejections and my submissions on Sunday that did not count towards last week's cap.

Has the cap gone?
Looks to have been a bug introduced by the new feedback functionality. Fixed now.
O.K., here's a weird one. I'm always intrigued by calmer, since (s)he is the closest to having added as many films as me and so I see him/her on the New Films page all the time, and am often interested by his/her choices of additions. Anyway, I idly clicked on his/her link just now. Take a look at his/her numbers of films per year. Of the reviews approved in 2007 and 2008, at least 1,456 must have been submitted on or before 25th February 2007. (This is assuming that (s)he submitted 20 every week from then on and they were all approved on first submission by the end of 2008, as were the 1,456.) This stretches credulity for me. Is there definitely no glitch here, Benj?
Edit: I had always assumed that those stats applied to approval dates but looking at both calmer's and my reviews that cannot be the case, so it must be submission dates, which in fact makes the situation even more extreme. Since 26th February 2007, we should each have submitted a maximum of 2,400 reviews. In that period, calmer has had 3,454 approved. This means that at least 1,054 must have been pending at the end of 25th February 2007 (and even that is assuming that calmer has subsequently had 20 submissions from every week approved on the first go, which is obviously not the case, e.g. this week).
This is nothing against calmer. Indeed, good for him/her if (s)he has managed to get more through somehow, and I'd prefer it to happen to him/her than many people here. I just find it perplexing.

In case anyone wants to see how they are doing relative to the maximum, I have created some stats (under Reviews and beginning with Post-cap reviews) here.
I've also started compiling one of my tables.

Benj, I have just deleted a pending review that I realised was a duplicate and it has confirmed a problem I've noticed and mentioned before. After deleting the review (which I submitted today), I tried to submit a separate one. However, it rejected it as over quota even though I have now only submitted 29 this week (1 approved, 28 pending). Please can this glitch be fixed and my quota slot be returned?
