That's the come on of the century... let me slip into something more comfortable!! Meanwhile, slip into this:

What actor has the distinction of having every film in which he appeared be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture?

John Casale, with 6 appearances.

You reading the Ken-Jennings.com pages?

(There's probably a lot of actors who've appeared in a single film and had it get a "Best Picture" nom, but nobody touch Casale: Godfather I, II & III, The Conversation, The Deer Hunter and Dog Day Afternoon.

Last week AFI presented it's 10 Top 10s, the "best" movies in 10 different categories. The first genres were Animation, Fantasy & Sci-Fi. One actor had a major role in a single top 10 movie in each category, but I don't believe he was heard from again (in the 10 Top 10's that is). Who was he?

Not all at once, people! Not all at once!

Added hint: The actor was only seen in one of the three categories.

Correctomundo, Baftababe! My next hint was going to be that he share 2 names with a US President. Your turn.

This is a quote from Shakespeare:
"I will a round unvarnished tale deliver
Of my whole course of love"

This is a hit song:
A Fool In Love

Name the actor that connects them and detail the connection.

Lawrence Fishburne played Othello in a 1995 version of the Bard's tragedy and also played Ike Turner in "What's Love Got To Do With It".

"A Fool In Love" was the first top 20 hit for Ike & Tina Turner.

John Cazale went 6 for 6 in Oscar Best Picture nominations in his lifetime, but what actor went 3 for 3 in a single year? To be clear, he had significant roles in 3 of the 5 Best Picture nominees in the same year and even was Oscar-nominated himself for one of those roles.

I dont know about nominating himself, but Thomas Mitchell at the 1940 Oscars was in the winner "Gone With The Wind" and also in "Stagecoach" and "Mr Smith Goes To Washington", both also nominated for best picture.

He's not the one you are thinking of, as there were 10 films nominated that year (and possibly the worst one won!).

That year he was also in "Hunchback Of Notre Dame" which didn't get nominated but should have been IMHO.

It wasn't George Clooney, to my knowledge. (Was he in 3 Best Picture nominees that year?) But it was in the past decade.
