A friend showed me this last night. Although it is certainly well done, I'm not sure how I feel about the ethical issues of altering an actor's iconic performance or a director's iconic scene for a car commercial.

Try this, made from a grand total of 987 Polaroids.

And if you've been watching Heroes, you need to see this.

Some movies are born gay; some movies become gay; some movies have gayness thrust upon them:

I'm rather fond of the movie parodies on YouTube, particularly the Brokeback Mountain series:

Brokeback Dumb and Dumber

The Brokeback Redemption

Lord of Brokeback Mountain

Pirates of the Brokebackbean

Brokeback Titanic

and the always hilarious Brokeback to the Future

I had this originally on a different forum:

In Japan they take their life insurance policies very seriously and want you fully covered, because you just never know when you're going to get poisoned:

I hate the Brokeback Mountain parodies. Lame, and overdone. Now, what I always wanted to see is a new version of Brokeback Mountain itself, where it's like a kickass action movie. I'm still working the bugs out of this, but the voiceover would be something like:

**Two men... only looking for a job**

Joe: You pair of deuces lookin' for work, I suggest you get your scrawny asses in here pronto.

**A million miles from anywhere... they saw something... they weren't supposed to see...**

*shot of Randy Quaid staring through binoculars*

*tense music*

Ennis: The wrong place... at the wrong time... and we're dead.

Now... they will have to fight to protect themselves and the ones they love...

Ennis: What I don't know - all them things that I don't know - could get you killed if I come to know them.

**Two men on the run...**

(shot of Ennis fighting off thugs at Fourth of July)

**Two families under attack...**

Jack: This is my house!

*shots of Jack getting beat up*

Ennis: Earl... they found him dead in an irrigation ditch.

*montage of violence*

...BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN.
