WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU GUYS DOING???!!! This isn't free association, or tangential association: the point of the game is to come up with a real movie title that effectively "removes" the last movie title. In actuality, the responding movie title must somehow "negative" a material component of the prior movie title. The plot of the movie is irrelevant: the TITLE is what matters.

In BB's original example, "The Wizard of Oz" was negatived by "The Blair Witch Project". Now, while that juxtaposition may not really work in that direction, the concept was clear: some element of the responding title removed a material element of the prior title. (The problem with the Oz/Blair Witch example is that -- at least I would argue -- the wizard is more prone to remove the witch than the other way around. But, then again, there didn't appear to be much witch removal going on until Dorothy dropped in on things, so to speak; so maybe the wiz and the witch are equipotent, which would really be a stand-off rather than a removal, but I digress).

So, when TP posted "The Computer wore Tennis Shoes", livie's "Barefoot in the Park" was appropriate (i.e., shoes "removed" by barefootedness); followed by TP's "Shattered Glass" (i.e., shattered glass would prevent someone from going barefooted); followed by livie's Unbreakable (i.e., unbreakability counters broken anything); followed by my Hebrew Hammer (i.e., in addition to nailing things, hammers break shit too, hence it counters unbreakability). Then things go awry.

"Too Legit: The MC Hammer Story" does not counter "Hebrew Hammer": there is no removal concept there! They have the word "hammer" in common, but this is not a commonalities game!

Even if there was a removal concept in the prior, "The Magic Christian" would not counter MC Hammer! Sure, Hammer's a bit of a silly Christian, but that's just commentary: IT AIN'T REMOVAL!!!

Then, my ex-girlfriend "Sarah Silverman: Jesus Is Magic" [FN1] ...
IT DOES NOT REMOVE THE MAGIC CHRISTIAN!!!!!!!! It just strings on to a concept in the prior title!

Now, I could go back pretty far into this thread to point out the same problem, but I'm going to give you guys a chance ... the chance I never got (isn't that from Interview with a Vampire?)

How's about we play this game right, or do I have to write long, annoying posts some more????

Let's ignore the transgressions and just start with soemething that "removes" Sarah's magic Jesus:

The Devil In Mrs. Jones.

[FN1] Better clarify this. No, Sarah and I never dated. I met her one night and we chatted. My old girlfriend used to get jealous when I would say "Hey, there's Sarah; I met her once," so that later became "Hey, there's Sarah; she hit on me once," which later became "Hey, there's Sarah; my soulmate," which later became "Hey, there's Sarah; we used to date," which later became "Hey, there's Sarah; we had a kid together," which later became "Hey, there's Sarah; the bitch who left me for Jimmy Kimmel," which later became "Hey, there's Sarah; yeah, we're divorced now," which later became "Hey, there's Sarah; he owes me alimony!" which later became "Hey, there's Sarah; she's keeping me away from the kids again. Like they don't love their Dad? Sarah you fu*king whore!" You get the picture. So I always think of Sarah in the context of our past "relationship".

What???? She got divorced???? Sonofagun: blink and you never know what you miss!

The Fat Spy

Now, I am using the controversial, but nonetheless legitimate BB technique of playing off of the sound of "Exorcist," so I don't want no guff bout spiritualists not being workout gurus.
