Not exactly a duplicate review, but I'm not sure that duplicating the title of the movie you're reviewing constitutes as a four word film review.

Unless the title IS the plot.

Not the highlight of my reviewing career, Mr Cool. For some reason I found it funny at the time - but I think my sense of humour may have been temporarily impaired!

May have to consider Smitheeing that one

Fixed.

Hmmm. I seem to remember mine being approved before Tony Clifton's... so why was mine deleted? I had two reviews for that movie, and they were deliberately submitted in tandem.

I'm pretty sure I checked the unique IDs of the two reviews and Tony's was lower (i.e. it was submitted into the database earlier). I'll double check on this, but please be aware that my general policy is that the first submitted of the two, regardless of which was approved first, gets the credit

Wasn't sure where to put this but this seems as good a place as any. The 2005 version of H.G Wells' 'The War of the Worlds' is called 'War of the Worlds'. The version that everyone is writing Tom Cruise reviews for is the wrong one, in fact there isn't even a link to the Speilberg film on this site. Just thought someone should know as I have only just discovered this.

Personally I'm still waiting for someone to make a version of the Jeff Wayne musical, set in Victorian times like the novel. That would be the greatest movie ever!

Cheers, Alex.

Sorry to do this, foxboy, especially to a Top 100 review, but...

For 'The Exorcist',
Punz posted 'Blair Witch Projectile Vomits'
17 reviews ahead of thefoxboy's version, 'Blair Witch Projectile'.

Sorry foxy, but that's a duplicate any way you slice it.

Possibly turning myself in here (or apologies to Bennyr81), but:

My review for Black Vampire: "Count Blacula."

Bennyr81's review (in current FYC) for Vampire in Brooklyn: "Blacula."

I don't know which one came first...

If they're for different movies this isn't generally considered a problem. Some don't like duplicating or plagiarising others' reviews, but some don't mind at all.

My "The Blair Witch Projectile" puns "The Blair Witch Project" as in just 3 letters added to the end. I have not mentioned Vomit, I do not agree that it is a dupe. I was aware of punz review when I wrote it and didn't see a problem with it. As it was a benj approved review, I hope that he saw it my way too.

Actually, can I ask what your projectile reference refers to?

I'm reading it now and all I can think is you were referring to the vomitting (even if not said), in which case the sentiment is the same and it's perhaps a little too close to Punz's.

Good call! It gets to stay then (although shouldn't it then be 'Blair Witch Projectile crucifix'?)
