Er, no. Cracovvian already incorporates 11: it doesn't have two Vs in general. Roman numerals generally work using the largest possible numbers, but there is a certain amount of flexibility even now (IV/IIII) and when in everyday use I'm sure they were even less strict.

Happy Birthday FWFR (& Benj).

I've had to make it clear to the Cabinet Office's ceremonial unit that I refuse to accept an MBE until Benj has his.

Yeah, and Ko11i shouldn't have changed his name -- after all, "k" is the 11th letter of the alphabet.

It's all good: because we're all havving a good time! I want more cake!!!

11? How many is that? I've run out of fingers!

In the 11th hour I've written up a little 411 on 11 for you four-worders:

11 is the atomic number of sodium and this site is peppered with salty language. Coincidence? Na.

At 11, FWFR is in prime form.

E.L.F. would not have to change her name to honor the occasion (if you know some German).

If there were any Spanish speaker here they would only say it once.

At 11, FWFR.com has really grown in volume!
Nigel Tufnel: The numbers all go to eleven. Look, right across the board, eleven, eleven, eleven and...
Marty DiBergi: Oh, I see. And most amps go up to ten?
Nigel Tufnel: Exactly.
Marty DiBergi: Does that mean it's louder? Is it any louder?
Nigel Tufnel: Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most blokes, you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your guitar. Where can you go from there? Where?
Marty DiBergi: I don't know.
Nigel Tufnel: Nowhere. Exactly. What we do is, if we need that extra push over the cliff, you know what we do?
Marty DiBergi: Put it up to eleven.
Nigel Tufnel: Eleven. Exactly. One louder.
Marty DiBergi: Why don't you just make ten louder and make ten be the top number and make that a little louder?
Nigel Tufnel: [pause] These go to eleven.

Those are all the parallels I can draw with || right now.

French speakers would also say it once (depending on dialect).

That's right TitanPa/1i1anPa - you've got the spirit, because it's never to late to seend good wishes to a friend. In honor of your effort, I have switched back to my anniversary name.

So why not make it a month-long holiday: since others also are still showing their spirit, I move that we continue to fly our anniversary names for a whole MONTH!
