Demonic's 2012

Objective

2012 proved to be one of the more memorable years for cinema in recent memory - in the mainstream Christopher Nolan's Batman finally rose up and flew away, Sam Mendes brought the Bond franchise back on track with a bang, Ridley Scott went back into space and Peter Jackson took us back to Middle Earth - however it was another strong year for foreign and independent film with notable offerings from Michael Haneke, Jacques Audiard, Thomas Vinterberg and Leos Carax. Review the sixty two films I caught at the cinema in 2012 to win this accolade.
