All's Welles, Ends Well
Objective
Orson Welles famously started out on the stage and radio before securing his place in film history aged 25. His attachment to the works of Shakespeare was significant: not only in the great Shakespearean performances he filmed throughout his career, but their influence on his other screen characters; Charles Foster Kane is nothing if not grandly drawn and tragically flawed in the Shakespearean tradition. If you review his five screen Shakespeare performances to win this accolade you really will have done Welles.
