Yo-Yo plays a stringed instrument.

Spooky or what?

I'm off to walk the dog...

Amazing how in the beginning, you barely see the changes. A lot more morphing involved once you start getting to current day actresses.

Very cool, though.

EM :)

It's just clicked with me. The same piece of music features somewhere in Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World. At some point I shall dig out the DVD and try to find it.

I knew it was Bach, but I'm not into cello and couldn't have told you what it was or who was playing it. The only cello piece I like listening to is - obviously - Elgar's Cello Concerto played by Jacqueline DuPre.

(I'm such a cliche!)

Hm... for the first two I take it you mean Winslett and Driver, but Monica who?

Sorry- that would be Bellucci, not Potter.

(And I didn't see Charlize there either or Heigl.)

It did, though, anger some women-in-film groups because it's such a misnomer, exclusively featuring young, mostly white, mostly American, leading actresses.
Well, they're welcome to make their own one and include Dawn French, Oprah Winfrey and Darlene Cates if they want.

If I had made that one I'd call it "Sean's Harem" or something.
ChocolateLady Posted - 03/09/2008 : 09:22:16
I just went through it again. At 1:04 after Audrey Hepburn and just before Shirley Maclaine, is that Mili Avital?
ChocolateLady Posted - 03/09/2008 : 09:18:33
Beautiful, and yes, I did notice a few who were missing. I'm thinking there's one FWFR here who will be pleased that they left his favourite for last!

Not sure, but I think it may be a Bach concerto?

As for the film - it's been making the rounds for a while now and surely is a wonderful example of morphing. It did, though, anger some women-in-film groups because it's such a misnomer, exclusively featuring young, mostly white, mostly American, leading actresses. e.g. No early pioneers like Alice Guy or Marie Dressler, comediennes like Alice Ghostly or Barbra Streisand?

So, I admire the technique but it should really have another name.

But thanks for posting it Stalean!
