Well, hello, everyone!
I meant to say "thank you, thank you very much" earlier. I thought the owner of the ranch (Silly Armstrong) was going to release a statement, since she was an eyewitness to the signage and knew somebody that could get the facts straight. But apparently she had a hard time reaching someone to make a proper announcement, so let me just say

So, anyway, where was I? Oh yeah. We need a new topic, don't we? How does that work? Do I announce it here, or do I start a new thread, or what? Well if you can hang on a moment or two longer I'll figure that out and get back to you... |

I have to say you all aced this as-sign-ment, 18 excellent entries - the most in a round since I signed on as avatyrant. To think, just a couple months ago we were worried about this contest's vital signs.
Time for the sign posting of the most sign-ificant avatars of the week:

If I could do it over again, I would use one of those local TV station signoffs as my avatar. If they still do those...I haven't seen one of those for at least 20 years. Now I guess they just run infomercials all night, don't they? |
