Not the Fantasy Island "Tattoo," but those ink injected, electrically powered tattoo machines that resemble (and sound like) a dental drill. The machine moves a solid needle up and down to puncture the skin between 50 and 3,000 times per minute. The needle penetrates the skin by about a millimeter and deposits a drop of insoluble ink into the skin with each puncture. 
If you have your own tattoo, feel free to share, but keep it relatively clean, people!  Have fun! |

No - keep it - I decided to go a different way myself - I should have done it earlier I just was swamped with work until this weekend.
