It seems a natural progression from someone named Gere.
Since Metropolis in 1927, artificial mechanical life has been a mainstay of movies. Now's our chance to strip a few more gears. Pick any robot/android/synthezoid/replicant from the vast array of choices and decommission them!
As in previous weird FWTO's initiated by me, I recommend we allow that you may identify your victim (and the movie(s) it appeared in) outside of the Four Word limit, but if you put the victuim within the obit, you'll get style points from me. |

The three voting laws of robotics:
1. A robot may not vote for an FWTO or, through inaction, allow a human being to get a 3 point penalty.
2. A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
