It's time to do what Heather would like to do and whack Paul McCartney.

Paul McCartney at IMDb.

Here are some songs he wrote/sung.

At his funeral I'll be singing:-

That'll Be Decay.

Kolo and I liked Abbey Roadkill, also. Was it a choice between it and the one you submitted or just an afterthought? I think 'Mersey' was too obscure for most voters to recognize, lemmy.

It was an afterthought. I realized it was superior but the die had been cast.

Mersey obscure? doesn't everyone remember Gerry and the Pacemakers' Ferry 'Cross the Mersey?

Being a bit closer to the Mersey I got it straight away and thought it was sure-fire winner. I'm afraid I didn't get Ali's either. Congrats, Ali, on Pauling it off regardless.

Or that those bands coming out of Liverpool came under the banner of the 'Mersey Beat'?

Firstly, yay!

Secondly, I am so sorry. I was feeling a bit under the weather yesterday, and took the day off work. A new victim is coming soon.

I hope Ali arrives soon. Clearly our resident serial killers are desperate for someone else to whack.

Fortunately our hitmen (and hitwomen) can make porn movies with Meg Ryan while we're waiting for our next target.

I liked 'Pall of Kintyre' - mostly because I hate that song with a passion and would love to see it killed off forever

Congratulations, Ali!

I also would've voted for Abbey Roadkill.

I guess my "reunited with beetles" was either too gross or too subtle. I thought after all the CSI's showing decomposing bodies...

I had never heard of it.

I'd have voted for Ali's review if I'd known about it. Glad it won.

Seriously?

It's part of the "Paul is dead" rumor. One of the supposed pieces of evidence that Paul was dead was that if you played some Beatles song backward, you would hear Paul saying "Paul is dead" or some such foolishness.
