Posted - 10/16/2009 : 08:13:09I am so happy that this boy is safe. When the event started, I was paralyzed with fear. As a parent of a young child, all I could think of was the prospect of my child, at that age, in such a predicament. I anguished over the prospect of that 6 year-old child trying to stay put, or making a terrible decision, as that balloon rocked and tilted. The thought of him falling after a tilt was heart-wrenching.
I hope it wasn't a publicity stunt, because I would be doing some travelling to punch a certain father in the face. I don't think it was.
Let us always keep close watch over our children. Thank you, God, for giving us a happy end to this tale.

Posted - 10/18/2009 : 03:38:03 I dunno MguyX. You may have to book a flight to Colorado. See here. To quote Sylvester the cat - "despicable". This is the product of the oversaturation of reality television in society. If television went back to scripted, acted television, these sorts of people would not have the forum to exploit their families and the public's compassion.
