It gets more difficult each time to choose a new subject, but this looks like a subject ready to be avatar'd.

Ladies & gentlemen, regardless of whether you are republican or monarchist, I present to you the subject of the new Avatar contest - Royalty.

Here's our future king and his lovely horse wife to get you all started.

I was thinking of deceased newspaper columnist Mike Royko's comment about Prince Philips' rude behavior towards American journalists, while visiting the US. Royko wrote something about "the Prince and all his other inbred relatives."

Which made me think about inbred hillbillies which led to pasting the heads of Liz, Phil, Wills, Camilla and Chuck into this Al Cap depiction of his Dogpatch family of the Li'l Abner cartoon.

When Cheese has the gallery ready I'll post a larger view.

In Happy Feet, this Royal penguin is King of the Emperor penguins. Is that royal enough?

I shall have to enter - I completed a sort of Royal Flush the other day when I encountered Princess Anne. (I'd met the Queen and been to events attended by her husband and eldest son before.)

My impressions were:
Princess Anne was taller and thinner than expected
The Queen was even shorter than expected
Prince Philip was also shorter than expected
Prince Charles was browner than expected (been on holiday, Your Mahogany?)

Never got to see Princess Diana in the flesh though

Edit: Back with pic.

Hey peeps. I thought this was a bit relevant. Not a huge fan of the royal family, but I do like King Kong. He is the Hair to the throne. Right

Mampers always an optimist.

P.S. Cheese, sorry I could not vote yesterday, I am revising and also was watching the Champs League final . So sorry dude.

I got up at 2:45am to watch it, we were down to 10 men before I'd gotten the sleep out of my eyes

I fear this night could haunt me as long as the '80 Cup Winners Cup final did - 26 years and still counting ....

I did try, but apparently I don't know my own password and my email address is incorrect. Maybe I'm not the person I think I am.

Edit: thanks for the advice, Duh and Cheese_Ed. I'll try again.
