Time to grab your sunscreen, passport, and Pepto-Bismol.
We're taking a trip to the land of Mariachis, Margaritas, and Montezuma's Revenge.... Sunny MEXICO!

(This topic has been on my mind of late, as Mrs. Wheelz and I will be heading there for real in a few weeks -- the rest of you can join us virtually!)

Many men are buying "black market" Viagra pills
from Mexican mail-order drug stores.

The U.S Food and Drug Administration announced that
several of these pharmacies are mixing the Viagra with
ground up Mexican Jumping Beans.

The results can be horrible....

Be very careful, Wheelz!

I don't know if it was actually filmed in Mexico, but this theme made me think of this film, The Magnificent Seven. Really great theme music by Elmer Bernstein that later became the theme music of The Marlboro Man. "An oppressed Mexican peasant village assembles seven gunfighters to help defend their homes."

From 1968 when stereotypes were cool...

'This is Hatty Town, where all the people live in hats.
This little boy with the great big hat on is Sancho,
and this is Carrots who is Sancho's very special friend...'

Again, while not Mexican, folks frequently mistake this Spanish beauty as the premier Latin blonde bombshell.

Known for her signature phrase, "Cuchi-Cuchi!" nearly no one seems to remember that she is an extremely accomplished flamenco guitar player.

To the best export Mexico never had: Charo!

Has anyone seen the "Pee-Wee's Playhouse" Christmas Special? Charo was a guest star. One favorite moment of mine is when Pee-Wee introduces Charo to his chair (a talking puppet): "Charo, Chairy. Chairy, Charo."

Also, for a period, the quintessential talk show guest (along with Robert Blake).
