Put on your top hat, white tie, and tails! This avatar contest is a tribute to one the most defining genres of film and live theater: the musical. I'm entering with the title scene from Singin' in the Rain, or as noncentz calls it "Splashdance." |

Tap your way over to www.fwiffer.com
I actually had several different ways to go with this one (musicals are so cheesy), but I went with the Yellow Brick Road, which can be from whichever musical you prefer The Wizard of Oz, or my choice, The Whiz, er, Wiz. |

What's the problem, Ed? Too few entries? Better chances to win, no?
(Perhaps this contest has run its course... ???) |

I can't see how it could run it's course, there is an infinite number of images out there and who wants to look at the same old avatars all the time in the Fourum? - but I admit I'm biased, I'm a cheese avatar-aholic and I have the collection to prove it.
We definitely go in cycles of high and low participation. I know I am especially busy with the holidays and work stuff right now, so perhaps others are under the same crunch. Finally this contest got a very late start and people seem to join on Thurs and Fri or not at all, it seems, so that is also hurting this week in particular.
Maybe we'll get a couple more today and tomorrow so this week isn't quite so pathetic. |

Maybe not purely a musical - but I'd give this film an 11 out of a possible 10 in its ability to rock!! |

Yep, and as must be pretty obvious, this topic is my personal favorite.

Arrived back from fishing far too late to enter, so lurker voted.
I'm guessing I'd have used something from Happy Feet if I'd entered. |
