This is among my favorite (and most underrated) Christmas movies of all time. It is surprising how close the film is to the actual Dickens story (much of the screenplay includes direct quotes from Dickens), and the Muppets and songs only add to the fun. The Treasure Island movie was less entertaining, but I wish the Muppets would make more movies based on 19th century novellas.
