"Does not compute! Lame!"

Today I have four random reasons to be cheerful:

1. Went to the doctor and got my ear unblocked (I can HEAR!!)
2. I got mortgage approval on my apartment (whoopee!)
3. Finished work for the holidays (yay!)
4. Got my 4,000th fwfr vote! (Well, you've got to measure your progress here somehow i guess!)

To mark these four occasions (which are really not at all that auspicious considering the season and all that), anyone to reply to this post in the next four days will receive a multiple of four votes from me (the multiple to be decided by myself).

I will also select four of your previously-unvoted-by-me reviews to spotlight to the rest of this four-word community, giving them the publicity they so desperately need to thrive in this cut-throat four-word-world, and possibly even earning them more voting action as a result!

So come on and post away people!
(p.s. I can hear.. I can HEAR!!!)

Greetings and Congratulations Mr. Ex-Beethoven!!!

I will visit your pages within the next FOUR DAYS to pay tribute. Meanwhile, a cunningly placed review of mine on this page was written especially for you ... it was recently approved, and then you'd gone away for a bit. So NOW YOU'RE BACK ... hope you like it [clue ... it's got Irish in the title]

Batted some of your zero balls!

Thanks! I was nearly mr. van gogh for a while there i can tell you! bloody annoying being deaf in one ear!!

Ok, doing me best to keep up this multiple of four votes thing, think i'm sticking to it, but counting's hard, dammit!. Anyway, here's four of BBabe's:

Millenium-katastrophe: 'Adios, amiga'
Fordidden Games: 'Enfants interring, inferring enfer' (haven't seen the film, just liked the wordsmithery!)
Slaughterhouse Five: 'POW Pilgrim's alien abduction' (must watch that one..)
Half a dozen babies: 'Cheaper by the half-dozen'

And what could a film called 'Irish way of discussing politics' possibly have to offer, apart from a series of drunken barfights!?!? .... actually on second thoughts..!

I could build a house of wax after today Ever had a chinese ear candle done? I have, and it's mad!

Not many of these need much publicity cheese, they seem to be doing well already! But anyway, here's four fromage favourites from the heart of the dairyland (.. and plenty of Jesus-inspired ones I notice.. although i fear your parish priest may not approve! ):

Totally Nude Aerobics: 'Pubic Hairobics' (simple.. that's why it works!)
Jesus in Russia: 'Preferred miracle: water-vodka'
When Jesus was a kid: 'First coming during puberty'
The Sex Life of Jesus: 'Jesus f***ing Christ' (that one makes me think of Team America, but I'm not sure if 'Jesus T****f***ing Christ' would get approved now!! )

Count me in Paddy.

May the road rise up to meet you
and your 5000th vote be close at hand.

PS Just visited your top 100 reviews - I'd missed a few beauties there but rectified the oversight.

Welcome back PC. By all means smite me with your four pronged voting stick. My reviews, unvoted.

So, if you were deaf in one ear, did that mean you kept walking around in circles, that kind of thing? Isn't it weird that our ears control our balance? Glad to hear you're on the mend....

I can think of a couple good reasons to celebrate myself, though my ears are okay, if you could get my eye to work right again, I'd come to Ireland and buy you a pint....

Meanwhile, enjoy your apartment, enjoy your holidays and Feliz Navidad!!!

I'm all for votes (being the VoteMonger), and I am getting newly approved votes by the pound tonight, so here I am....
