This has nothing to do with L. Ron Hubbard (but I'm sure someone out there might make a convincing pitch).

Pi was delicious (I had two slices). But I was gaining weight.

Don't be so critical! Be diacritical. Here's to all of those little marks that subdivide pronunciation.

I start with a classic battle between the schwa and the umlaut.

Euuuuuu!

Is your diet critical of chocolate? I shouldn't be. Dark Chocolate is good for you - have some and you'll feel much better. Mark my words!

As exciting as I find punctuation... I figured I'd one up you and offer this trio of American Idol critics.

Spinal Tap had umlauts and my avatar is one louder...

Diacritics (using the loose definition as to what are diacritics) are useful for explaining how to tell girl kittens from boy kittens.

I like your artwork, MguyX.

I give you Kevin Federline, the new Schwa* of our times.

* According to Wikipedia: The word "schwa" is from a Hebrew word meaning "nought." Schwa is, in Hebrew, an epenthetic vowel, the equivalent of "no vowel at all."

There's an anusvara in here somewhere.

Not to be confused with a colon.

If if one person speaking is a monologue and two people speaking is a dialogue, wouldn't it follow that two critics would be a diacritic?

I present to you Siskel & Ebert. I used to watch the weekly dialogue of this diacritic during my formative years.

That one's been a problem for years. I can pronounce it, but it just can't spell it right.

Fixed. Ta.
