What I find most amusing is that it tells people to first drive all the way to Boston, then jump off the Long Wharf pier and start swimming. And as if that weren't enough, the directions tell people to swim to France and then hoof it through the Chunnel!

You can put any us city and any european city and it tells you the same ports out of boston and to france - funny work around !!
I also like how it predicts it will take you roughly 29 days to swim across the Atlantic - I am sure someone took some time to do the swimming speed math - very nice detail.

I can understand Boston being picked as the exit port, but why not swim to England?

Perhaps France is more centrally located to the rest of Europe. Either way it is a nice little Easter egg - seasonally appropriate.

This is not Google's only attempt at humor. Last Sunday, they announced this. Check the calendar.

If you take a closer look at the page, it appears to be a parody created by a 3rd party website. It had me fooled the first time and it still pretty funny.
