Bill Paxton?

No, but he was the older brother in Weird Science . Why he was playing someone 20 years old at his age, I don't know. Paxton was born in 1955. Think 10 years or so younger, more bemused, with a fairly solid and respectable (in my mind, at least) filmography behind him.

Yup, yup. What did I say that you see what I mean? The bemused part? I was afraid that if anyone paid attention to too much that I said on here, it would be a dead giveaway. My favorite declined review of all time, and one that still sits in my pile, was for Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil : "Beguiled directs bemused."

What film maker, later an influence on Godard, started Kino-Pravda in the Twenties?
RockGolf "1500+ reviews. 1 joke."

Pravda being Russian, I can only guess Sergei Eisenstein.
