Apparently Allison Stokke doesn't welcome the attention she's getting on numerous websites.
My advice to the pole-vaulting wench with model-girl looks is to either (a) ignore the prurient old farts who are ogling her pictures for the wrong reasons or (b) make use of the adoration to gain an edge over her opponents.   |

Which is something Amanda Beard knows all too well about. She is an Olympic Swimmer with a few medals to her name. Can't wait to see her in the next Olympics. |

Secretariat was the Sports Illustrated Athlete of the Year in 1973. Watching him win, on television, was one of the biggest thrills of my life.
At his death, there was mention that his heart was more than twice the size of a normal horse's heart, which must have had a lot to do with his running ability.
We now know that the 'large heart gene' is x-linked. Horses may inherit it if their dam carries it. Fillies will inherit it from their sires, but colts cannot. This explains how Secretariat became known as a sire of broodmares (who produced winners), rather than as a sire of race winners. |

Well this would have to be the greatest athlete ever. Jesse Owens.
1936 Berlin Olympics was meant to be the show for the Nazi propaganda, where Aryan race would triumph. However an African American called Jesse Owens was showing up as the man of the tournament.
