i didn't wanna start a new Glengarry thread, so i figured this was as good a place as any to talk about it.
a local theater is putting on Glengarry Glen Ross on stage. we have tickets for excellent seats and i'm as tickled as can be. my girlfriend has never seen the movie, so i think she's in for a treat. and i refuse to let her watch my dvd before the play. she has been warned about the liberal use of profanity.
one thing i found out while reading up on the play -- Baldwin's character, Blake, was not in the play and was added to the screenplay by Mamet. i wonder if they've incorporated him into live performances. the play here will feature William Mapother, don't know which part, who has appeared in 'Lost.' |

we had a blast at Glengarry. one thing that i thought was kinda odd -- on stage, some of it was pretty funny, especially from the Aaronow character, while the movie wasn't funny at all.
the actor who played Levene was great. here's a preview posted by the theater:
