Maybe I will.
I really hadn't considered the "work friendly" aspect. Since that picture really IS from an art exhibition and in my opinion very tastefully done, I might not have been very sympathetic if someone was offended by it...but GH makes a good point, after all I can't offend anybody if they're afraid to even visit the website because it might get them fired.
I would have called it "Olympus Mons." It almost had its own zip code. |

Back in 1996 or thereabouts the British Tories decided their best defence against New Labour under Tony Blair was to portray him as a secret demon. Their 'demon eyes' ad appeared on billboards throughout the country during the May 1997 general election campaign. The ad won awards (see below), but the elecorate didn't go for it. Blair won with a landslide and won two more elections before standing down earlier this year.
From The Guardian online: Demon eyes ad wins top award January 10 1997: Tony Blair's eyes have become as powerful an advertising weapon as the 'Hello boys' Wonderbra campaign featuring Eva Herzigova's bosom.
PS I know what some of you are thinking: "I'd rather see Eva Herzigova's bosom". Maybe next time. |

Come on then, Downtown. Heave it into the gallery. I missed its shortlived appearance here and am intrigued. I promise not to show it to my aged mother. |

In Ghostbusters Demons Possessed RIck Moranis and Sigorney Weaver. Sigorney became sexier but Rick just became even funnier. |

If you want it in the gallery you'll have to register at the gallery site or point me to a copy of the picture and I'll post it for you.
The rest of the the demon hoard is up at www.fwiffer.com |

So is the "Enter this Contest" link supposed to actually do something when I click on it? Because currently, it doesn't. |

Well it's there now...I'm afraid it's not going to live up to the hype after all the buzz about it. It's just a tastefully done nude photo, I agree it's not "work friendly" but not particularly risque, either.
Later today I'm going to delete most of my messages in this thread, mostly just to put the emphasis back on the contest. |

Don't bother, DT: the other posts reproduce the discussion, and this wasn't a topic of general controversy anyway. Besidses, after Wednesday, this thread will effectively close itself.
Don't worry about it. |

It is a very creative interpretation of the theme. |
