I have an idea for a funny review, but it would have to be for a movie about Star Wars collectables or about collectors of Star Wars merchandise. I tried looking something up on IMDb, but couldn't find anything using the obvious keywords (star-wars, collectable, geek, fandom, film-fan, fan). Does anyone know of one?

I doubt 'Fanboys' fits the bill

Thanks for trying, but no, my review wouldn't fit there. Oh well.

I wonder whether these guys ever delivered.

Actually, it's hard enough to find any film with characters who collect stuff from real movies - or indeed who collect anything. What was that rom-com with Ben Stiller, Ed Norton, and Jenna Elfman where BS plays a rabbi who shows off his collection of rabbi cards?

Keeping the Faith was the title of the film you are describing. I remember that the title character in The 40 Year Old Virgin collected science fiction memorobilia, but the review I'm thinking of is too specific to Star Wars to fit for 40YOV.

Did you try googling Kevin Smith and star wars?

Wasn't their some reference to collectables in Die Hard 4.0??
