I finally picked up the DVD when it was released (never made it to the theater) and so far I've seen it three or four times.
I say "or" because I've seen it partially a few times, so it all adds up. I really like it, I love looking for little tidbits in the background that you can only notice on multiple viewings. I was one of those kids in the late seventies that was pretty sure I was the first to 'discover' the Beatles and realize how great their songs were at describing my life or lack thereof.
Interestingly, my ten year old is really digging some of it, his favorite songs are "I wanna hold your hand" ('that girl sounds better than the Beatles') and 'Let it Be' (he likes the kid).
He sorta zones out by the end, it's a bit long for his attention span if there aren't light sabres involved. |
