Quick story: in a former job, I worked on Mr. Levin's novel SLIVER and thus got to meet him. After I told him how much I admired his work, I revealed that I lived in apartment 7-E, the same number as Rosemary's! He stared, bemused. "Don't worry, not the one at the Dakota." He laughed, and ice was officially [and permanently] broken.

[I also got to tell Bill Blatty how creeped out I was by the recording playing backward in his novel THE EXORCIST, but that's another story.]
