Very interesting.

There was another thread where someone posted a documentary of Real Doll owners, but I am having a hard time finding it. Riveting.

I don't remember that but I remember foxy's posting for Sean of a link to a site selling the male version with its hand on its daddy parts.

Baffy's review...if I didn't know how kind and sensitive Baffy is, if all I knew of her was that review, I'd think she'd been in kookoo land too long. heeheeheeeeeeeeheeeeeee

And were the Real Doll owners all professional riveters? What are the odds of that?

Here's the link.

I started watching it lazily, skipped ahead, and then I discovered it was fascinating and found that I simply had to watch it in total from start to fininsh.

(I guess there's just something about the rivets, duh. )

I think it is nice that the dolls are available for lonely people. They certainly aren't hurting anyone.

Awesome! I'm shocked no one else (including me) thought to add the film as a documentary short before now. I think we were all too busy being creeped out. Thanks Yukon!!

BTW duh: I agree with your sympathetic observation, and I applaud your humanity. It's just the parts where the men begin to treat these dolls as real that I wonder whether there isn't some damage going on somewhere. But, of course, you are right to observe that to each his own.

But it's still creepy as hell! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!! Did you see Davecat start nuzzling her ... its ... nose. Ew, ew ew! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwww!!! CREEPYYYYYYY!!!

I watched this the first time you mentioned it MguyX, I was the same, just got fascinated with the life that some people have and had to watch it.

Still waiting for my order to arrive.

The one fellow who did treat them like things creeped me out more, LOL. "I go out to the garage and grab a doll..."
