I did go to one Cannes Festival back in the mid-1980s. It was everything you'd think it would be ... good and bad

Just from what I read in the papers, I love the silly mixture of high and low culture. Truffaut and Tarantino. Godard and Borat. Indiana Jones! They all seem to be welcome.
