Posted - 07/18/2007 : 20:38:49 Nothing wrong with a chocolate bar that's been withdrawn - unless there's a little too much salmonella. Ask Cadbury.
BTW, voted while I still could. |

P.S. I've voted
I wasn't talking about the British Marathon bar, but the American one, which was discontinued in 1981. That was also a long, braided bar that is very similar to the Cadbury's Curley Wurly.
That article about Snickers in the UK is probably accurate about the naming of that bar there.

This chocolate's been discontinued! Sad, isn't it?
Not too sad. You're in luck, CL. I see it all the time at my grocery store, and you can buy it here or here, and several other internet candy sites.
I knew I should have gone with the Marathon bar, although they make something called a Curley Whirley (sp?) bar, which is basically the same as the old Marathon.

Posted - 07/16/2007 : 17:32:08 Well I do not watch the sitcom, however the main question is Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads? I think I am expecting only votes from the British folk from a certain age.
