I knew a vacation to the Devil's Tower national monument in South Dakota was a bad idea but it got worse when I bumped into another traveller getting away from it all. See the zoom-insert to find out who was appropriately vacationing at Devil's Tower.
Definitely a vacation from hell on all accounts.
(I believe OBL was recording his podcast when I snapped this picture)
I hope that Terrorist Tim doesn't retaliate for this ... |

| A holiday from hell might include a trip to Sighisoara, Romania. This was the birthplace of Vlad Tepes AKA Dracula. The picture in my avatar is of me and my family while on holiday in Romania. We stopped at the Sighisoara citadel, which is on the Unesco World Herritage list. The orange building behind us is said to be where Dracula was born and lived until age 4! It is now a bar. |

I've been to Romania - many times - and I can tell you right now that staying anywhere in Romania outside of Bucharest can easily be a holiday from Hell!!!! Actually, driving anywhere in Romania is hellish. As my boss says "if you can survive Romania, then you're okay"!
(And that's without even visiting Bram Castle.)

Keeping on the movie basis, I think this could be the worst place to stay in the world, unless you like tranvestite killers whom keep their dead mums around. Just remember, use the bath to wash and always leave the shower curtain open.
