... which you knew would be rejected, but you just had to submit it anyway?!!

I've only done it a couple of times, and have always taken the decline in good grace. It was no surprise to see my latest land plop in my reject pile today, but I thought some of you might think it funny:

Silence of the Lambs: Baa. Baa. SHUT UP!!

Anyone have any other personal gems that you know won't make it into MERPville but you'd like to share with us?

I've certainly submitted many which I thought were probably too 'generic' but which I thought were worth it on the off chance.

Please don't misunderstand. I'm hoping people will share reviews they know have no possibility of being accepted, but which are funny. Post them so we can all have a laugh.

This is NOT a thread of complaint that something didn't get accepted. It's about FWFRs which you KNOW haven't a chance in a gazillion of getting through.

A recent example from my reject pile was my review of Lifeboat: "Hitchcock's About a Buoy." I knew that review was doomed for factual inaccuracy when I submitted it, but figured I'd give it a chance anyway. Same with my critique of Paint Your Wagon: "Note-by-Note West." Doesn't quite work, but it made me laugh anyway.

That review being declined is a crime.

Certainly, many times. In fact, I can't remember what movie it was for or the review, but I remember for one I actually put in the comments something like "OK, you can reject this, but I just had to submit it".

(Right now I'm waiting for them to reject my review for Portraits Of Anorexia which is: "Fat Chance Film, ironically!" because the film was produced by a compnay called Fat Chance Films. Really!)

I submitted "Free the Pee!" for Bridge to Terabithia; although I know that quotes very rarely make it as FWFR.

But if you asked my kids what happened in the movie, that's probably what they'd tell you.
