Well I do not watch the sitcom, however the main question is Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads? I think I am expecting only votes from the British folk from a certain age.

More Gallery problems, duh. I just went to add mampers' entry and it won't load and all of the avs I loaded this morning (which appeared to be fine at the time) are now gone.

Ah, that is cuz the host is doing a server upgrade. Should be back to normal in a few hours. |

A British Marathon is now known as a Snickers, and has been for several years. A Curley Wurly is something completely different.

I wasn't talking about the British Marathon bar, but the American one, which was discontinued in 1981. That was also a long, braided bar that is very similar to the Cadbury's Curley Wurly.
That article about Snickers in the UK is probably accurate about the naming of that bar there.
