We are closing in on year # 8. The years have gone so fast. Benj has brought us togehter and we are still going strong. First we should pay tribute. Post your first 8 reviews that you did when you first discovered FWFR. Weather it was 8 years ago ...or just last month. We shall check it out and maybe vote on some.
After doing that we shall remember the good old days of the FWFR.
When Benj was all alone in approving reviews.
When noncentz entertained us all.
When MguyX would rant about a selected subject.
The fact that every month would bring a troll who questioned this site.
Before there was PKMN...there was Pokernose
When Tori wouldnt 'get' anything.
When Evil Giraffe invented Avatar Contests
WHen showing skin was the only way to win an Avatar Contest.
When I started paying tribute to celebrities who died (R.I.P.) and another contest was inspired.
When being in the bottom of the top 100 meant that you only had to do 20 reviews to reach the top.
When AC roamed these halls with us.
When members used to nit pick at reviews and noone really cared.
Remember the days when you posted a review and it was accepted that same day.
Remember when an "I see.." review was actually funny.
Remember when paying tribute to a Fwiffer in your review was a time honored tradition.
Remember these things and more. We want to hold Benj in high respect and thank him for creating such a site. We also want to thank the MERPS that Benj has thrusted approving reviews upon. we would not be where we are without you. We all hope this site grows even bigger. Here is to waiting to see what year 8 has in store for the site and the Loyal Fwiffers.

I remember when Corduroy Pillow came up with the concept of having a weekly Four Word Obit competiton.

can someone tell me how to pick 8 films? I tried to, but I'm allowed put 5 in the FYC page. How do I pick out my first 8 reviews?

This is what you do:
Go to your reviews.
Press the "Chronological Order" button. This will put your reviews in last accepted/first order, so press the button again and you'll get your reviews in first accepted/first order.
Then, alter the page address so the ROWS figure is 8 instead of 100.
Then just copy the address and put it here!
Or alternatively, find some really nice person who will do it for you, like this for example:
