Very nice hand, there is no point betting a winning hand and scaring him away. However, I don't think you would have scared him off with a bet, he also had a very good hand for heads up.  |

Yesterday's poker:
1st game: Entry $2 + .40. 10 hand table.
My A flush walks into a full house.  Out in 8th. 
2nd game: Entry $2 + .40, 30 player tournament.
Eventually my 77s walk into pocket Aces. 
Finish 5th. Prize money? $4.80.
Nett gain/loss for day: $0.00.

The min-raise preflop was a probing bet. On the button, he would call with a wide range of hands. He'd likely raise with a premium hand. My bet on the river was meant to look like a blocking bet inviting just a call. After his raise, we are both pot committed so he had to call the all-in reraise. He could have had pocket 5s but if he did, I'm finishing in second anyway. My wife said, "Oh good, you can pay off the Macy's bill". 
This was a $10+1 buy in. Pay-off $150.
Turns out, I'm better at poker than at chess. It's my 2nd MTT first place. I've cashed 1/5 of the time. Whip you are on Bodog with that prize structure.

Well, I'm pretty sure you're a better poker player than me, Rockfsh, even though I have made a pretty astonishing profit of $7.10 today!

Well, things just get better and better!
Today, one ten player $2 table where I finished third (no prize!  ) and one 30 player $2 tournament which I just won! $24!!!

I'm floating around the room at the moment as I just won a 400 player freeroll. It took over two and a half hours!
My prize is 2 tickets for a soccer game tonight - not exactly a lot of notice and I dont know whether I will be able to make it.
