One of my pub poker mates went down to Crown Casino on the weekend and bought into the $175 tourny, came in 2nd place and walked away with $11500. Not a bad days work. |

Just won a freeroll with 277 players! In fairness quite a few sitouts, but it took 3hrs 20mins of playing time to win it so it wasn't that easy.
I led the tournament from when we got down to 12 playrs until nearly the end. I was just second coming into the heads-up, got about 170,000 chips against 160,000 and went all in with two pair. Unfortunately my opponent got a straight on the river so I was down to 10,000 against 320,000. And proceeded to whoop him!
I now get two soccer tickets to see Spurs play next season, and also I think a signed framed shirt and a signed football. Lucky old me, eh?

I had a win on Tuesday nite, I had two very lucky hands on final table. I cracked pocket Ks with a 4 in the window to trip up my pocket 4s Then small blind limped in with my big blind special of 4 5 off suit, flop comes 4 5 9, I jam all in, small blind calls and turns over pocket As. Teaches him a lesson for slow playing AA.
Well I ended up winning that season and I'm off to the state finals on the 25th of July. We are two weeks into new season and I have come 2nd and 11th, so off to a good start. :)
APL, the league that I play with sent 24 players to the World Series that is running at the moment. 23 are knocked out but one of them, Charlie Elias, is currently ranked 2nd overall out of 125 remaining competitors. His stack stands at almost 5,000,000.
Not bad considering he got entry playing free poker at the pub. |

| My son was watching that on TV last night. We saw some pretty stupid things happen - especially at the table with that Asian-American guy who only has 7 fingers. |

Very nice, maybe one of those all ins should have been on hand 21 after the flop when he rivered the str8 on you :)
Also, got to love hitting trips on the flop, boat on the turn and quads on the river... |

You are right and my play was far from perfect ( I overbet the quads hoping to make it look like a bluff). Thing is, because I was disconnected, I had no read on these players. I made assumptions based on their chip stacks. Of course they had no read on me either but I'm sure they weren't concerned about me. |

I got my chip stack up to 80mil and I was happily giving chips to family and friends, so that they could enjoy playing on some of the larger tables. Zynga, the company that runs that poker app on FB decided that I was selling chips, which is against policy and banned me. After two weeks they gave me the option of rejoining but with only 10% of my chip stack to a maximum of 1mil. So I took that option but I was still hounding them about the other 79mil, so they sent me a message saying that I will be banned again and this time it will be permanent. It hasn't happen yet, so I stashed 4mill in a fake poker account I created
After all this, they now allow you to pass chips to family and friends....bastards. |
